System Engineer - Digital Application

Your main focus will be installation and configuration of software and hardware solutions tailored to our customers' needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting, storing and processing data from Kongsberg Maritime systems and 3rd party data providers, through different type of industrial protocols.
  • Work with customers to understand their challenges, improving their efficiency and sustainability through digitalization.
  • Configure databases to structure and organize data.
  • Create Apps and dashboards through Kongsberg Maritime digital platform.
  • Handling our core cloud services, digital solutions and our open digital ecosystem

Desired qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree or Technical education in engineering such as computer science, electronics, automation or similar
  • Maritime experience and knowledge about LNG, Offshore and Emission control is an advantage.
  • Interest and experience from installation and operation of IT systems, Computer networks, data communication and protocols, Cloud solutions and Microsoft Azure is an advantage
  • Fluent in English, oral and written.
  • Fluent in Norwegian, oral, and written is an advantage.

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
