We are looking for a VP Technology and Product Development to join our leadership team. This role will be vital in driving our success, spearheading cutting-edge technology development, and delivering customer focused digital solutions.
What you will be accountable for
- Product Lifecycle Mastery: Take ownership of the end-to-end product development process for both new and existing offerings. From design to testing, maintenance, and utilization, you’ll ensure our digital solutions exceed expectations.
- Tech Leadership: Stay ahead of the curve! Continuously evaluate the latest software development trends and technologies. Identify opportunities to incorporate these innovations into KM’s solutions and shape our future offerings.
- Capacity Management: Strategically and operationally manage technology and product development capacity. This includes coordinating with third-party developers and testers to optimize efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the company aligning digital development processes and requirements.
- Industry Influence: Represent our digital office in internal and external technology forums. Be recognized as a subject matter expert and thought leader in digital solution development.
- Strategic Leadership: As part of our digital office leadership team, actively contribute to operational and strategic discussions. Your insights will shape our success.
- Cultural Catalyst: Foster an energized, high-performance, inclusive, curious, and accountable leadership team culture. Your positive influence matters.
You bring a formal background and experience of
- Education: A master’s degree in a technical, computer science, or IT-related field is preferred. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
- Tech Experience: Knowledge and experience of latest software development trends and technologies, including software development methodologies.
- Leadership Experience: Previous leadership within a technical team environment, ideally in a global business context.
- Maritime Advantage: Experience within the maritime industry is a plus.
- Financial Understanding: Proven track record of managing budgets related to technology solutions development.
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
