Software Requirement Lead

You will join our Vessel Automation & Process Control team. We are responsible for integrated automation system (IAS) deliveries to ship owners in the offshore and merchant segments. Our team is specialized in the fields of LNG process simulation and control, and vessel automation control and alarm handling.

For our segments of responsibility, we are a stakeholder to internal product departments for engineering efficiency tools and new product capabilities. Additionally, we also specify, plan and execute technical feasibility studies for extended customer value propositions, currently with a high focus on emission management, in close cooperation with customers and our sales department.

We work closely with international colleagues in our projects, and we travel for sea / gas trials and commissioning support.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As SW requirement lead you will be managing and closely following up the progress of our internal stakeholder requirements towards other departments and feasibility studies. Your key duties include:

  • Define & implement requirement handling method for Vessel Automation & Process Control
  • Break down stakeholder requirements based on Vessel Systems Roadmaps
  • Map Specific system requirements to internal CIP projects or project owners for other interfacing departments
  • Responsible for accepting verification of requirements.
  • Follow-up performance (time and acceptance criteria) of requirements internal and external for Vessel Systems on regular basis
  • Report progress

What We Are Looking For

We seek an experienced and structured lead with SW application background and knowledge / experience with system requirements. You are committed to closely follow-up the progress of new improved system capabilities /activities on behalf of own department.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant engineering education, college or university
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with SW requirements
  • Proficiency in English and Norwegian (written and spoken)
