Service Development Manager

We are looking for a Service Development Manager for our Health Management Service Development Department. As manager of the Health Management Development department, you will be part of the Analytics & Fleet Operations management team, and responsible for driving service development within Condition Monitoring Solutions and Health Management services on Kongsberg Maritime equipment. You will develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, and pursue future development needs to ensure that Kongsberg remains at the forefront of disruptive Aftermarket Service delivery.

What you will be doing

  • Create development plans and set sales targets and growth projections together with accountable Aftermarket Sales Managers
  • Forecast and pursue future development needs to ensure that Kongsberg remains at the forefront of disruptive Health Management Service delivery
  • Meet with existing and potential clients and partners and build positive long-term relationships
  • Train and lead a staff of developers to achieve the strategic objectives and ambitions of Analytics & Fleet Operations and Global Customer Support
  • Prepare financial projections and reports for management, and assist accountable Aftermarket Sales Managers in keeping records of sales performance
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

We think you should have

  • Cross-disciplinary and international team leadership experience
  • Master's degree or relevant industrial experience
  • Experience with product development of Propulsion machinery and systems
  • Experience with product maintenance and management of Propulsion machinery and systems
  • Professional English proficiency
