Project Manager

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Manager. You will be reporting to the Director of Operations in Offshore Production Systems (OPS) business unit under our Automation & Control division.

Offshore Production Systems is the Business Unit responsible for delivering Safety and Automation Systems for Offshore Production Units. Our knowledge and customer relations position us well for being a key player when the energy business transforms into a greener future.

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to manage our delivery projects and contribute to our further development and operational success. Do you want to be part of Kongsberg Maritime's transformation by taking the lead in actively managing projects and build more business in cooperation with the Operations team?

Key accountabilities

  • Manage and lead a diverse project team in delivery of the project’s scope of work in accordance with the mandate and Customer contract
  • Manage risks and contingency plans
  • Commercial point of contact with Customer. Follow up and act on commercial opportunities
  • Reporting in line with agreed reporting routines
  • Continuously identify opportunities and follow up lessons learned

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience as a Project Manager is an advantage
  • Experience within Safety and Automation Systems or other relevant project experience
  • Experience and knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime’s products is an advantage
  • Experience with leading and managing people
  • Positive attitude, cope with challenges and finding solutions
  • Higher technical or financial degree
  • Good Norwegian and English language (oral and written)
