Field Service Representative Manager

Division Missile and Space (DMS) is seeking an engaged and experienced Field Service Representative Manager (FSRM) for an exciting expatriate assignment supporting the NSM Land Systems and the USMC Navy/Marine Expeditionary Ship Interdiction System (NMESIS) project.
You will be part of DMS-M47 Through Life Support following the USMC project timeline. In this critical role, you will lead a team of two or more Field Service Representatives (FSRs) providing on-site support to operate, diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, train, and repair the NMESIS system. All spare parts shall be tracked by the FSR and reported to the FSRM, and location and status shall be communicated in a monthly status report. You will act as the main point of contact with the U.S. Government, ensuring coordination and visibility across all contract activities to prevent duplication of effort and maintain operational excellence.

Key accountabilities:
- Responsible for safe service execution, health, and wellbeing of our FSRs.
- Administrative responsibility for FSRs, including resource planning and day-to-day follow-up.
- Ensuring that visas, health certificates and other relevant documentation needed for travelling are always in order.
- Use FSR and customer feedback to continuously improve performance and customer satisfaction.
- Support of FSRs whenever needed, ensuring sufficient FSRs are available to meet all performance metrics for training and field exercises as defined by each unit’s training and exercise employment plan, to be identified by the Government.
- Participate in FSR training and approve/evaluate competence prior field deployment.
- Report on project status to the Project Manager
- Report on technical status to the Project Chief Engineer.
- Conduct off-site customer meeting as required to discuss upcoming works or dispute resolutions if necessary.
- Together with FSRs, Inventory spare parts and FSR equipment on a monthly basis, documenting it in the monthly status report in cooperation with on-site FSR.
- In-office technical support and remote services to customers and colleagues.
- Travel activities must be expected.
Qualifications and experience:
- Strong administrative skills and structured approach to work.
- Solid technical understanding: experience in field service or defense background is an advantage.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English is essentials
- Highly motivated for international travel and expatriate assignments.
- Eligible to obtain worldwide work visas.

This employment will require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check and also security clearance to Navy/United States Marine Corps (USMC) sites.

Work Location:
The work location will primarily be Kongsberg, but travel to Marine Corps Base Hawaii, at Kaneohe Bay, HI, or Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) must be assumed. OCONUS locations could include anywhere in the Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) region.
