Delivery Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, installation, and maintenance of technical systems, ensuring high standards of quality and functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions, meeting project timelines and customer requirements.
  • Conduct on-site installations, configurations, and testing of systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly.

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Strong background or interest in ship electronics, installation, networking, and infrastructure, with hands-on experience in electrical systems and technical installations.
  • Proficiency in Linux, including the ability to configure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.
  • Versatile individual capable of flexibly switching between development and delivery tasks.
  • Practical experience or interest with system installation, configuration, and testing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently for work, both domestically and internationally, and experience working in various locations and adapting to different work environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues, both in hardware and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and providing top-notch customer service, with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
