Vice President, Business Development and Strategy
Join us as Vice President Business Development & Technology and be a member of our Propulsion & Handling leadership team!
You will join our Propulsion & Handling division in Kongsberg Maritime, a division consisting of more than 1100 employees globally delivering the broadest propulsion scope in the industry and a leading deck machinery and handling portfolio. In this role you will contribute to develop and maintain our strategy, as well as run strategic analysis for the Propulsion & Handling division. You are also responsible for aligning common technologies with Kongsberg Maritime and the Division. You need to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a growing, diversified, and profitable division. You will interact and cooperate across Kongsberg Maritimes to build your competence, business understanding and network.

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and develop a team of highly motivated employees in business development and technology.
- Develop and execute the division’s strategy.
- Drive continuous development and improvement within the division.
- Lead strategy execution and develop business plans, including selected business development projects.
- Conduct analyses and deep-dives into various topics to support decision-making, including evaluating growth options.
Qualifications and experience:
- Experience in a leadership position within the maritime industry
- Analytical mindset
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Proven track record in business development.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, engineering, or maritime studies.
- Experience from maritime industry is an advantage
