Senior Purchaser

We are seeking a Senior Purchaser to contribute to our division’s professional procurement efforts. Your capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment while upholding precision and structure is essential. Additionally, your role entails cultivating a clear, precise, and structured communication style. By adhering to company policies and executing plans diligently, you will ensure a high level of service for our internal customers. Collaborating closely with colleagues in Procurement, you will secure optimal deals with our global suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Purchasing to production and developing projects
  • Exerience from purchasing to production is an advantage in this position
  • Follow up on suppliers, quality and logistics
  • Prepare requests, evaluate quotations and participate in supplier selections

Qualifications and experience

  • Technical degree is an advantage, but relevant experience can replace a formal education
  • Experience with purchasing for at least 10 years, preferably mechanics or electronics
  • Experience from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Good communication skills in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written form
