We are looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer to join our Automation & Control team in Singapore. In this role, the key responsibility is to lead and deliver the instrument engineering scope, working and collaborating in a global, multi-disciplinary project team environment. This role reports to the Principal Lead, Instrument Engineering in Automation & Control division.

Responsibilities
- Responsible to lead the project or package in Instrument discipline.
- Deliver instrument engineering solutions according to the project specification, class rules and regulations within budget.
- Responsible for Client/Vendor technical inputs, interfaces, meetings, technical clarifications, etc.
- Responsible for design review and vendor document review.
- Responsible for delivery of Instrument Engineering documents as per Master Document Register.
- Monitor progress of associated design team and generate progress reports.
- Develop instrument engineering analysis, drawings and documentation.
- Review / prepare block diagrams, termination and loop diagrams, Instrument Index, instrument hook-up and mounting details, instrument layouts, control room layouts, I/O schedule, cable schedule, instrument tagging, and other engineering related documents.
- Review / prepare IS Calculation / SIL Verification document.
- Review / prepare Cause & Effect diagram, Fire & Gas detection layouts, safety engineering and loop schematics.
- Responsible for design work to support interface requirements with electrical, telecom systems and other third-party equipment related to the instrument & automation packages and to provide tailor made solution with cost effectiveness.
- Responsible for adherence to the QHSE requirements with respect to design and delivery of engineering deliverables (i.e. within budget, quality & planned timeframe).
- Responsible for class approval of project related documents, communication with client/regulatory bodies, as project demands.
- Communicate with ICSS project team globally related to product engineering.
- Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication Engineering
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Marine / Offshore / Oil & Gas industry projects with proven track record in handling or leading the Instrument packages
- Working experience in design and engineering team for conceptual studies, FEED & EPC phases for topsides & marine systems for an FPSO project or similar offshore projects
- Excellent knowledge of instrumentation, safety system engineering, including DCS/PLC based control system and field instrumentation for marine and offshore
- Experience in AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel), Tools
- Familiar with SOLAS, offshore standards and classification society rules and requirements
- Experience with Kongsberg Automation & Safety (ICSS) system is an added advantage
