Production Manager Composite

We are searching for our next colleague to enter the role as Production Manager in the Composite department. In this role, you will be a part of the Kongsberg Discovery, Supply Chain Team, delivering world leading underwater acoustic sensors and railing solutions to the maritime business.

As Production Manager you will be responsible for on-time delivery of composites for complex acoustic sensors. The position require involvement in the development and industrialization of new acoustic sensors and systems.

Your responsibilities include

  • On-time delivery of composites for complex acoustic sensors
  • Involvement in the development and industrialization of new acoustic sensors and systems 
  • Focus on HSE in day-to-day delivery 
  • Support and lead team managers
  • Set the production environment up for continuous improvement and build/preserve competence aligned with the department’s strategy

Qualifications and experience

  • Good technical understanding
  • Technical or a bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant experience can compensate for the lack of formal education
  • Leadership experience from a production environment is preferred
  • Good understanding of ERP systems
  • Fluent in Norwegian, both spoken and written
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written
