In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating training courses for internal and external purposes. Responsibilities

  • Prepare, conduct and evaluate training programs and courses for internal and external trainings.
  • Organize labs, simulator and/or classrooms and update equipment used in courses within our product area.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement based on course evaluation and feedback from course participants.
  • Keep up to date on course material, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide internal stakeholders (sales teams, sales support and admin teams) and external customers (end users of Kongsberg’s systems) first class technical support and advisory.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical college in electronics or mechanical engineering.
  • Technical knowledge of electronics, radio communication or navigation (satellite-based positioning).
  • Experience working with technical and/or business support to customers.
  • Hands on experience of repairs, overhauls and installation of electronic equipment on vessels is an advantage. Knowledge of Seatex products is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Seatex products and experience from the Shipping Industry is beneficial.
  • Good English language skills, both verbal and written.
