Forwarder

Kongsberg Maritime’s division Automation & Control in Grilstad, Trondheim, is expanding our supply chain and are now searching for a new Forwarder to join our team.

As a Forwarder, you will support our delivery organizations in delivering projects and spare parts to our customers worldwide – at the right time and to the right place. We are looking for a person with the right qualifications and attitude to join our team. In this role, you should be self-driven, service-minded, show excellent communication skills, and have a structured way of working.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Handle shipments from site for worldwide deliveries.
  • Prepare and issue required export documents.
  • Continuously keeping your competence updated.
  • Support our internal customers in serving our external customers.
  • Contribute to a high service level and enhancement of working processes.

Qualifications and experience

  • Logistics or forwarding education and/or relevant experience.
  • Experience from international transport, logistics, global export.
  • Experienced in using digital tools like ERP and Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures.
  • Able to meet safety requirements from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority (Luftfartstilsynet).
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, both verbal and in writing.

Since the development of the first Dynamic Positioning system in the 1970's, Kongsberg Maritime has always been in the forefront of developing leading Automation and Bridge Systems, and the Automation & Control division is responsible for maintaining and further developing that substantial legacy.
