Compliance Manager

We are currently seeking a Compliance Manager for Kongsberg Discovery (KD) to join the KD Business support and Compliance team. As the Compliance Manager, you will support the Compliance Officer in implementing and operating the Kongsberg compliance program. Your responsibilities will include providing compliance training, guidance and advice to the business, conducting risk assessment, developing mitigation plans, perform compliance audits, Compliance Due Diligence (CDD), third parties’ assessments, and investigations.

In this role, you will collaborate with other compliance teams within KONGSBERG. We prioritize sharing best practices for the company’s benefit. The ability to cooperate and share your knowledge and experience is highly valuable. This position is well-suited for individuals who consider themselves responsible, systematic and proficient in their professional expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver analytics work to support decision makers
  • Support and follow up the work of Anti-corruption
  • Due Diligence and risk assessment of suppliers and other business partners
  • Investigate conflicts of interest
  • Control of gifts and entertainment
  • Control of sponsorship and donations
  • Deliver compliance training internally and externally
  • Work together with KD global compliance team
    In addition, you can expect to work in the fields of human rights, privacy, whistleblowing cases, and investigation as well as audit execution

Examples of tasks in our Compliance team

  • Develop processes to ensure that we operate in accordance with internal and external requirements
  • Carry out risk analysis and propose control measures to control risk
  • Implement control measures in relevant operational processes
  • Carry out process activities related to anti-corruption, human rights, privacy and Compliance Due Diligence
  • Carry out training to implement compliance processes in Kongsberg Discovery
  • Carry out improvement of processes based on results from KPI and audits
  • Report to internal and external stakeholders

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Master's degree in law or,
  • Master's degree/bachelor’s degree in governance, risk management, compliance, internal audit or
  • Experience in one or more areas; anti-corruption, human rights, privacy, ISO19001, ISO 37001
  • Experience of Compliance Due Diligence
  • Knowledge of Compliance Management system
  • Good language skills in both Norwegian and English - written and verbal
  • Relevant experience from similar position would be beneficial
