Kongsberg Norcontrol enters Australian market with first Vessel Traffic Services Solution delivery in the region

Kongsberg Norcontrol has achieved a milestone in the Australian market with the delivery of its first Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) solution to the Pilbara Ports Authority, covering the Port of Dampier and Port of Ashburton in Western Australia. This is a leasing contract, valued at 72 million Norwegian kroner over five years.  

Kongsberg onboard with NOAA for latest research vessels

Kongsberg Maritime’s contract, worth US$11.25 million for the two vessels, will see the delivery of an integrated scientific handling system for operations with cables up to 5,000 metres in length. There is an option to supply two further vessels.

KONGSBERG awarded contract to deliver Naval Strike Missile to US Navy and Marine Corps valued up to NOK 12 billion

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (’KONGSBERG’) has signed a multi-year procurement contract with the US Navy for the delivery of Naval Strike Missile (NSM) missiles to the Navy and Fleet Marine Force over a five-year period. The fixed price contract awarded today is valued at NOK 10 billion. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to about NOK 12 billion.

US Marine Corps Initiates Full-Rate Production for ACV-30

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (‘KONGSBERG’) has received a contract from the US Marine Corps for long lead items, signaling the start of full-rate production for the Amphibious Combat Vehicle 30mm program (ACV-30). The items included in the USD 51 million contract are subcomponents specific to the 30mm remote turret, manufactured by KONGSBERG in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
