The KONGSBERG Integrated Tug design includes critical systems to secure a a safe working platform for the operators. The Mechanical TUGS, gives the operator a vessel that can operate in a zero emission mode for most of its working time, only activating the main engine for the extra boost needed for the main towing operation.
Integration of our state of the art Propulsion units, Deck Machinery and Control and Safety Systems will reduce a number of cost elements for the TUG:
- Shipyard will save engineering hours, interface meetings, cabling and installation work, and over all reduce the risk in the project
