Some of the best polar-research vessels on Earth carry our equipment and feature our design. The 129m RRS Sir David Attenborough, operated by the British Antarctic Survey, is based on our UT 851 design. It has ice-breaking capability up to 1m thick, with space for up to 60 scientists onboard and up to 60 days’ endurance at sea.
