Anchor Handling Operation Level 2
LEARNING OBJECTIVESAfter completing the course, the participant shall obtain the competency DNV-ST-0027 competence requirements related to AH Operations, column 4 Officer on watch (OOW).
TARGET GROUPBridge personnel involved in Anchor Handling Operations who have completed AHO level 1 and recorded 5 Anchor Handling operations in their IMCA record of competence logbook or possess equivalent relevant competence and experience.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTSRecommended entry requirement is a certificate of competence (COC) D4 or officers trainees.
CONTENTThe course aims to provide a base set of competencies for key personnel involved in anchor handling activities according to the Standard DNV-ST-0027 column 4 Officer on watch.The course contains the following modules:• Module 1 - Planning & Preparation• Module 2 - Anchor Handling Operations• Module 3 - Towing• Module 4 - Deck Operations• Module 5 - Emergency Preparedness• Module 6 - Information Exchange
