Training Coordinator - Brazil

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Training Coordinator, reporting to Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for for all front-line communications with customers.

The Training Coordinator is responsible to be a first line contact with customers. All of them should receive timely and accurate responses. This position requires extensive customer support skills as it requires frequent contacts with customers and internal colleagues across offices. This analyst will work with the spare parts and service support team to accurately meet customer needs.


Key Accountabilities:
• Provide excellent level of support to customers by phone and e-mail.
• Set up and book course participates into courses, using KM Course database.
• Responsible for correct data allocation
• Responsible to support the invoicing team related to student’s information.
• Ensure implementation, including development, establishment, and coordination of all internal product-training activities for our Kongsberg Maritime employees and partners.
• Be actively involved in training and presentations of training internally and externally.
• Ensure quality of the training programs.
• Establish and maintain a close dialogue with the department manager, as well as product departments regarding training philosophy and needs.
• Develop and maintain a good dialogue with training coordinators worldwide and in other departments.
• Participate in planning to optimize department execution plan for courses.
• Make sure routines and procedures are followed, updated, and developed.
• Responsible for the main mailbox and daily communication with customers. Make sure that the mailbox and response time is within agreed limits.
• Give support to local and external instructors and students.
• Give assistance to and execute work-tasks delegated from the Department Manager.
• Give support on quotations and course information.

Authority
• Prioritize and schedule work tasks within the department.
• Instruct department personnel assignments.
• Make documentation and checklists.
• Organize instructors’ agendas and maintain the schedule board organized.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, tourism or related areas.
• Ability to handle simultaneous activities and work in a hectic environment.
• Be a good customer representative and have negotiation skills.
• Structured and accurate.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Spanish is a plus.
