An exciting opportunity has arisen as Supply Chain Engineer – Customs Compliance, in this role, you will be a part of the Kongsberg spare part team in The Netherlands located in Helmond. In this role you will support our spares organization in a variety of customs related topics and tasks together with a colleague located in our office in Spijkenisse..

Kongsberg Maritime Netherlands BV is a subsidiary of Kongsberg Maritime with 80 employees primarily based in the Rotterdam area providing Sales, Aftermarket Sales, and Customer Support to our customers. Part of the Dutch activities take place in our Global Distribution Center in Helmond located at the Kuehne + Nagel facilities and collaborating with and supporting the worldwide spares organization.

Key accountabilities

  • Collect & control the supplier declarations of origin / certificates of origin
  • Support our organization with letter of credits
  • General statements & certification
  • Documentation and reporting

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Associate Degree or bachelor in supply chain, customs or related areas, Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education
  • Knowledge of customs principles  
  • General good computer skills (Microsoft)
  • Proficient written and oral skills in English. Knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage
  • Ready and motivated for supporting our worldwide spares business.
