Inbound Sales Manager

Join our dynamic team at Kongsberg Discovery as an Inbound Sales Manager! In this role, you will play a critical part in our global sales operations, collaborating closely with Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers to manage aftermarket products and spare parts orders. Your mission will be to deliver exceptional customer service, ensure smooth order processing, and facilitate seamless coordination between departments—all while driving customer satisfaction and contributing to company profitability.
What you will be doing
Sales and Order Management:
- Process sales orders and prepare quotes with accuracy and efficiency
- Proactively follow up on customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction
Customer Support and Issue Resolution:
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Provide detailed technical and product information to assist customers and to the global sales team.
Technical Responsibility – Team Leadership and Technical Support:
- Primary Point of Contact: You will act as the main contact for the global inbound sales team, ensuring that technical inquiries and challenges are addressed effectively
- Guidance and Support: You will provide technical advice and support to the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and resources to succeed
- Collaboration and Performance: You will foster collaboration within the team and drive a culture of high quality and service excellence
Data Management and Systems Coordination:
- Maintain accurate customer and order information in ERP and CRM systems
- Ensure a streamlined workflow by updating systems and collaborating with internal teams
- Work closely with logistics, procurement, and technical support teams to guarantee on-time delivery
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships across multiple departments and regional offices to ensure consistent service delivery

Qualifications and requirements
- A technical background in acoustic positioning systems or a related field is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marine Science, Hydrography, or Engineering)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems
- Knowledge of KONGSBERG Discovery products, systems, and services is a plus
