Department Manager

Our Automation and Safety department in A&C Technology are currently seeking a proactive Department Manager ready to drive technology excellence and innovation.

In this role you will lead a team of Engineers, taking full responsibility for technology competence, strategy setting, and resource management. The individual we are looking for has a natural talent for leadership or proven leadership skills and experience from automation and control systems. The ideal candidate values collaboration, communication and possesses a problem-solving and innovative mindset.

What you will be doing

• Execute department strategy and contribute to strategic initiatives
• Resource planning and allocation including recruitment
• Follow up and report Department economy according to budget
• Contribute to implementation of the Technology Strategy
• Contribute to improvement of processes and procedures within own area
• Develop technical proposals, studies, and manage LCM opportunities together with product owners

We think you should have

• Relevant engineering education, college or university
• Proven experience in Automation and Control Systems would be an advantage
• Good management and leadership competence, or motivated to gain this experience
• Basic understanding of budget and economy
• Strong interpersonal skills
