Associate Project Engineer - Automation & Controls

We have an exciting opportunity for Associate Project Engineer with Kongsberg Maritime India. We are looking for engineers professionals who can join our team and work closely with team leads and peer on different projects.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate Engineer-Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation discipline or equivalent
• 2+ years or relevant experience in Maritime industry with good track record.
• Experience in designing and maintaining marine automation systems.
• Familiarity with international maritime standards and regulations.
• Experience with Dynamic Positioning system is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage

What you will be doing

Responsibilities
• Design and develop automation systems for marine vessels and offshore platforms.
• Manage projects from specification to delivery and sea trials.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of existing automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including sales, production, and innovation departments.
• Conduct testing and validation of automation systems in real-world conditions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and crew members.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in marine automation.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for projects.
• Organize factory acceptance tests (FAT) with classification societies and customers.
• Commission systems remotely or on-site as required
