Aftermarket Sales Manager
Are you ready to set sail on a new adventure with Kongsberg Maritime? We are looking for an Aftermarket Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in our Global Customer Support Division.
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting, managing and following up on Kongsberg Maritime’s Life Cycle Management (LCM) approach with our customers, ensuring their assets are maintained in the most profitable and efficient way. This includes preparing and discussing commercial proposals for enhanced performance upgrades, new functionalities, modifications, and retrofit/refit/conversion solutions in line with KM’s product lifecycle philosophy. Your focus will primarily be on CAT-1 & CAT-2 opportunities within the Offshore segment, covering the following products: DP, KChief700 and Navigation.
Our customers demand up-time on their assets, and strive to keep total cost of ownership as low as possible. We are expected to work as a reliable partner with our competence to advise and provide after-market product solutions and services for our customers.
- Proactively meet customers and promote KM`s A&C product offerings and solutions, particularly on lifecycle management including product obsolescence, system improvements and recommended upgrades
- Prepare technical & commercial proposal in accoradance with KM product lifecycle philosophy.
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals suitable for customer’s fleet and operational profile
- Maintain and develop strong customer relations
- Be an active part in implementing strategies to maximize aftermarket potential
- Participate in developing aftermarket products and services based on customer feedback

Qualifications and experience
- 3-5 years’ experience preferably from the maritime industry
- Knowledge of KM systems and Life Cycle Management processes is an advantage
- Experience in preparation, delivery, and negotiation of commercial proposals
- Experience from aftermarket sales activity is preferred
- Good communication skills in English, both written and oral
- Travel as required both domestic and international
- Structured, reliable with good networking and collaboration skills
