The K-Sim Engine Sulzer 12RTA84 Container L11-III model accurately simulates a large container vessel powered by a Sulzer slow-speed turbocharged diesel engine. It features both fixed and controllable propeller configurations, providing a realistic training environment. Built on real engine data, the model ensures highly accurate dynamic behavior, closely replicating real engine responses.
Model
The electrical power plant consists of four (4) diesel generators and one emergency generator. The steam plant features an oil-fired boiler and an exhaust boiler. The simulator includes a control room operator station, panels, as well as bridge and steering panels for a comprehensive training experience.
Compliant with Industry Requirements
Kongsberg Maritime simulators exceed STCW Convention Regulation 1/12 requirements and meet DNV GL’s DNVGL-ST-0033 standard for Maritime Simulator Systems.
