K-Sim® Engine Offshore Krupp MAK M42 AHTS

K-Sim® Engine Offshore Krupp MAK M42 AHTS

The K-Sim Engine Offshore Krupp MaK M42 AHTS model simulates the engine room configuration of a modern Anchor Handling Tug and Supply (AHTS) vessel. It features four Krupp MaK medium-speed engines, with two controllable pitch propellers in fixed kort nozzles. The model is equipped with a 2040 Bhp tunnel thruster and a 1770 Bhp CP Retractable Azimuth thruster for forward propulsion, along with two 1200 Bhp tunnel stern thrusters. This setup allows for realistic simulation of the vessel's dynamic behavior and operation in demanding offshore environments, providing an effective training tool for marine engineers.
