he K-Sim Engine MTU V12 WaterJet H22 model simulates the operation of a high-speed catamaran powered by two turbocharged 12-cylinder MTU diesel engines, each driving a steerable KaMeWa waterjet. Designed for fast vessel operation, the model offers a maximum speed of 35 knots. The simulation includes control panels for craft propulsion, steering control, and engine monitoring, providing a comprehensive training environment for marine engineers to master the dynamics of high-speed vessel operations.

Model

The K-Sim Engine MTU V12 WaterJet H22 model includes a detailed propulsion section with KaMeWa waterjet installation, offering thrust and steering control levers, as well as indicators for the steering nozzle and reversing bucket position. The engine section displays monitored signals and safety control functions for real-time operation management. The Ship System Overview Display simplifies navigation between subsystems, while 27 mimic displays provide an immersive and interactive training experience for marine engineers, covering all available ship systems.

Kongsberg Maritime simulator models exceed the requirements of the STCW Convention, Regulation 1/12, and fulfill DNV GL’s standard DNVGL-ST-0033 for Maritime Simulator Systems.
