Supply Chain Specialist

We at the Propulsion and Handling division are looking for a new Supply Chain Specialist. We deliver world class products for propulsion, handling systems, motion control and waterjet for all marine industry sectors including merchant, offshore and naval. Our products enhance operational efficiency and deliver safe, secure, reliable and sustainable products to our valued customers.  
 

Responsibilities 

  • Conduct RFQs in cooperations with sales, analyze offers and finalize agreements after negotiations. 

  • Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, overseeing all required deliveries during tender and project phases. 

  • Managing and securing on-time and within-budget delivery on your own project portfolio. 

  • Contribute on sourcing new suppliers and ensure proper qualification and documentation. 

  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with EU directives and corporate policies. 

 
 

Qualifications and experience 

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain (or equivalent relevant experience). 

  • Technical understanding/competence is an advantage. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Category Management or Supply Chain. 

  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial understanding to ensure the best commercial conditions and qualities for your projects 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Engaged, proactive and commercially driven with a strong ability to prioritize and deliver results.
