Senior Vice President Solutions

Collaborative strategist with maritime background?

The Integration & Energy division is tasked with making integration a competitive advantage for Kongsberg Maritime. As part of this, the Solutions business unit has the responsibility to develop maritime solutions with customer value beyond the sum of parts and manage these throughout lifecycle. These solutions consist of products and systems from across Kongsberg Maritime and our strategic partners. This includes Concepts and Advisory services, cross-divisional R&D development, Solution Management for selected segments, Ship Design and Solution Design integration capabilities.

Solutions will be a spider in the KM Web- working to connect the expertise across Kongsberg Maritime into world class solutions that meet our customers’ needs for the future. Positioning KM as the preferred partner in the Energy Transition is one of the exciting challenges we are working on.

We are looking for someone to lead this important work. As SVP Solutions, you show strong leadership and communication skills with a commercial mindset. In this role, you need a strategic mindset looking at Solutions, our division and Kongsberg Maritime as a whole. The role requires a solid business understanding - interfacing and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders and colleagues across Kongsberg Maritime and our partners.

 

We are looking for someone that is:

Collaborative

  • Able to build and maintain relations and connect all parts of KM to provide joint solutions from all our products.
  • Understand how to navigate a wide organization – lead in a network of teams and influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Triggered by enabling the Solutions organization to be a collaborative force in KM.

 

Strategic

  • Able to take actions today to reach strategic objectives ahead.
  • Create ownership to the mission – also beyond own business unit boundaries.

 

Entrepreneurial

  • Able to see business opportunities and prioritize the right efforts.
  • Excited about creating an organization that brings KM new business opportunities.
  • Good understanding of the maritime market, customer base and trends

           

Your background:

  • Comprehensive understanding and network in the maritime industry, understand the drivers, trends and help us shape the maritime future.
  • Preferably you have experience in leading collaborative organizations, delivering not only on Profit & Loss, but also on innovation and business development.
  • You enjoy building teams, connecting people, and enabling growth around you.
  • You want to create customer success by contributing across KM, towards the other divisions and be an active member of the leadership team in Integration & Energy and have fun doing it!
