Project Engineer, Offshore Projects (2 positions)
Are you interested in working with propulsion solutions for the maritime market of today and tomorrow?
An exciting opportunity has arisen as we are looking for two Project Engineers to join our Global Customer Support organization. You will be responsible for leading and managing high value thruster service projects globally both offshore and onshore, including large turn-key projects, complex upgrades and Long Term Service Agreement contracts involving significant coordination of internal and external suppliers. Your area of responsibility will be on our offshore type thrusters as well as electric POD’s.
Responsibilities
- Project planning, preparations and lead on significant Thruster installation, commissioning, overhaul and upgrade jobs of Marine equipment onboard vessels, in dry-docks or in a workshops.
- Ensure that all work is done in accordance with applicable legal and Company quality standards, procedures and instructions, including Health & Safety policies.
- Accountable for field service cost to budget within area of responsibility as well as meeting customer expectations on project quality, schedule and budget.
- Support the global service network on skills development and product training on offshore thrusters and electric POD’s.
- Technical support to the regional network and offshore customers.
Qualifications and experience
- Technical education and/or work experience in relevant technical position.
- Good collaboration and communication skills, structured mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner / people management experience.
- Proficient English skills (Verbal & written).
- Willingness to travel.
