MNOK 54 contract with the Norwegian Army

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS (KDA) has on behalf of CCIS House AS signed a contract with the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organization/Land for delivery of decision-making support and IT tools for use by the Army's Command Control and Information Systems. The contract is valued at MNOK 54.

The contract consists in its entirety of the development and adoptation of software for tactical leadership and control. The order is scheduled for delivery in the autumn of 2003 and will give the Norwegian Army a modern new fire control system.

CCIS House AS, which KDA owns together with Thales Communications AS and Ericsson AS, has over the past two years developed the first step in the Army%u2019s new Tactical Command and Control System. The new contract is a conclusion of this development for a set price. KDA has taken on the main responsibility for this contract.
