Simrad sweeps awards for 18th year running

Simrad has scooped 5 prestigious awards presented by The National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) in USA at a recent ceremony in Fort Myers.

In addition to the Autopilot awards for its AP20 series and AP9 Mk3 autopilots, Simrad received the Association's coveted prizes for its RFC35R Electronic compass and the RGC50 Gyro compass. A special award was also presented to Simrad for the first certified NMEA 2000 product.

The Simrad team was particularly proud of these awards as they are judged by highly respected US dealers and Certified Marine Electronics Technicians who apply stringent tests to the equipment under scrutiny. Simrad autopilots have featured in the award presentations every year, over the past 18 years displaying a consistent approach to the technology employed in the manufacture and development of marine electronics. The new award winning autopilots and compasses from Simrad are the very latest in an unbroken run of ground breaking marine electronics from this innovative company.
