3D drone detection radar
The DR 100 is a purpose-built Drone (UAV) Detection Radar providing tracking and classification out of the radar panel. It is a small and low weight, non-rotating, solid-state panel-based radar. The radar is made to recognize commercially available, low-cost and small UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) that can easily be rebuilt to carry small payloads, potentially causing large damage. In recent years, smaller commercially available drones have been used in conflict areas as well as around public arrangements and critical infrastructure, both to support good and bad intentions.
Advanced detection and classification
The DR 100 is a purpose-built radar designed to detect, track, and classify small UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). It features state-of-the-art tracking and classification algorithms that can differentiate between various moving objects, such as drones, birds, vehicles, and people. The radar provides a high classification probability of over 95% within its detection range.
Robust and flexible design
The DR 100 is a small, lightweight, non-rotating, solid-state radar panel that can be easily mounted on both fixed installations and moving platforms. Its robust mechanics and IP67-rated housing ensure durability and low maintenance costs. The radar's design allows for effective heat dissipation without the use of fans, making it suitable for various environmental conditions.
Networked configuration for enhanced performance
One of the key features of the DR 100 is its ability to be linked in an IP-based network, expanding the detection range and performance. The radar can be integrated with KONGSBERG's Mobile Broadband Radio (MBR) or any other suitable IP-based communication link. This networked configuration allows for real-time data sharing and enhanced situational awareness.
