For more than 75 years, Simrad has manufactured echo sounders and sonars for fishermen all over the world. We are the original brand.
Our history dates back to 1946 when Simonsen Radio was established. Our first product was a radiotelephone for the fishing fleet. The first echo sounder for the commercial fishing fleet came on the market in 1950.
