Service Project Manager

Kongsberg Maritime’s Energy - Global Customer Support, are seeking a dedicated team member as a Service Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects for our worldwide fleet.

In this role, you will provide aftermarket support for the comprehensive portfolio of electrification, drives and energy storage products for marine applications. Kongsberg Maritime’s energy product range includes switchboards, electric drives, rotating equipment (motors and generators), and batteries, all integrated with a unique approach to energy management and overall vessel control.

We are looking for a structured individual with strong project management skills and the ability to assess and mitigate risks across different systems. While familiarity with our product is a plus, it is your ability to lead and manage projects while collaborating with colleagues – focusing on cost, time, quality, and customer communication that truly matters. What you will be doing

  • Prepare quotations required in cooperation with supporting functions
  • Plan, manage, execute, and control projects according to mandate
  • Handle customer inquiries, manage orders and ensure seamless invoicing
  • Be a single point of contact between KM and our customers
  • Quality assurance and documentation of work orders
  • Participate in department, and business wide improvement projects and initiatives

We think you should have

  • Project management experience, or aspiring for such a challenge
  • Technical education or background in relevant fields is an advantage
  • Knowledge of, or interest in maritime operations and products
  • Work experience from commercial and customer-oriented roles
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
