Service Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator assists the Service Operations Manager in the administrative aspects of project management. This role includes coordinating project activities, managing project schedules, and maintaining project documentation. The Project Coordinator ensures that all project components are organized and running smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Service Operations Manager in project planning and execution
  • Monitor CRM dashboard
  • Coordinate project activities and schedules
  • Maintain all project documentation and records
  • Assist with resource allocation and management
  • Monitor project progress and report updates
  • Facilitate communication among project stakeholders
  • Update WIP project sheet / report
  • Maintain 24-hour on call service support, including weekends & public holiday
  • Prepare summary sheets for project invoicing
  • Hand over project files to Service Operations Manager / Managing Director for approval  prior to invoicing
  • Maintain 24-hour on call service support, including weekends & public holiday

 
Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years experience in the Maritime & Shipping Industry
  • Bachelor’s degree / Technical Qualification in Engineering & or  Project Management, or related field
  • Experience in project coordination or administration
  • Technical  & commercial understanding & work mentality
  • Ability to coordinate and orchestrate a team working remotely and in different time zones
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software
