Senior Sales Manager – Electrical & Integrated Solutions

Are you passionate about shaping the future of energy solutions? We are seeking a dynamic and customer centric Senior Sales Manager – Electrical & Integrated Solutions for our Naval Segment.

In this role you will take an active part in the sales process with a main responsibility for the Electrical & Integrated Systems to our Naval segment. You will be a member of a highly professional sales team, and you will play an important role in developing and performing sales activities for our sustainable energy efficient solutions worldwide.

You will be part of the Global Sales and Marketing Division who is a global function within Kongsberg Maritime, responsible for presenting the company’s total scope of products and solutions towards customers and marketplace. KONGSBERG have built a solid and exciting professional environment within electrical systems. Our Power Solutions combined with Energy Storage and Digital Control Solutions is designed to meet the current & future demand for Innovative, Safe, Reliable and Sustainable solutions.  

Key accountabilities

  • Create and maintain customer relations
  • Prepare, present and promote customer specific solutions to Navy Command globally, Shipyards & designers.
  • Preparation of quotations and manage contract negotiations
  • Coordinate customer activities with sales resources within KONGSBERG
  • Participation in relevant industry conferences and events

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical systems. Solid experience with excellent track record may compensate for lack of formal education.  
  • Sales experience from naval or maritime industry.
  • Additional knowledge of other relevant products & solutions is an advantage
  • Experience in delivering, commissioning and start-up of systems at shipyards is an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, verbally and in writing
  • Employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check. Please note that this might affect the offer process or employment.
