Senior FPGA Developer

We in Kongsberg Discovery are now looking for an experienced FPGA Developer to join us. This exciting position is in the Ocean Science R&D department, where we design and develop underwater acoustic systems for the ocean science segment. We are looking for a specialist FPGA Developer who is a structured and organized person and interested in product development. The right candidate is passionate about FPGAs, VHDL development  and digital electronics.

Key accountabilities

  • High level of expertise with FPGAs
  • FPGA System architecture
  • Digital HW design
  • Build and test tool development

Qualifications and experience

  • Relevant Bachelor or Master of science
  • Experience with FPGA- and HW tools
  • Preferably cross-discipline knowledge (HW, Embedded SW)
  • Good communication skill – both in English and Norwegian

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
