Sales Manager – Propulsion

To meet the challenges in selling the propulsion for the future, we are looking for a highly motivated customer-oriented Sales Manager with a desire to work in a dynamic and international environment. In this role you will take an active part in the sales processes with a main responsibility for the propulsion as a member of a highly professional sales team. You will make important contributions to the international and domestic markets with our sustainable solutions for propulsion.

Key accountabilities
- Create and maintain customer relations
- Promote suitable propulsion proposals for specific projects to owners, yards and designers
- Responsible for the technical clarifications and communication with customers, cost estimation and risk assessment of a tender
- Coordinate customer activities with other sales resources within KONGSBERG
- Technical and strategic support to other sales managers
- Participation in industry conferences and events
Qualification and experience
- Master or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the marine
- Good knowledge and overview of propulsion products for the marine industry covering shaft line(s), tunnel thrusters and different types of azimuth thrusters
- Experience in commissioning and test of mentioned systems at shipyards or from ship designers or related maritime business company
- Manage English fluently orally and in writing
