Project Manager
Due to growth in the LNG trade, an exciting opportunity has arisen as Project Manager for Upgrades and Modifications. In this role, you will be part of Kongsberg Maritime, Global Customer Support, Automation & Control. As part of a global company, you will work within a diverse, experienced, and motivated team of project managers located in Europe. Together, we deliver upgrades and modifications for a wide range of Kongsberg automation and control systems to end customers in the LNG maritime market, utilizing teams in Kongsberg Maritime's global network.
In this position, you will plan, manage, and control a portfolio of After Market projects with typical lifespans ranging from weeks to a year. You will establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring variation orders are handled and secured during the projects. By supporting the sales organization with your project and technical expertise, you will contribute significantly to our success. Managing multiple projects in various phases, you will be hands-on with both project teams and customers, overseeing day-to-day activities.
This role requires occasional travel, planned ahead, for 0-15 days a year. If you are motivated to lead projects from start to finish and see yourself as customer-focused, self-driven, and systematic, we look forward to working with you.
We think you should have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree within engineering, but relevant experience can compensate for education.
- Experience with customer relations.
- Experience as Project Manager or aspiring for such a challenge.
- Knowledge of or interest in maritime operation and products.
- LNG experience is an advantage.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
