Project Engineering Manager
As Project Engineering Manager, you will report to Department Manager – Systems Engineering Management. This role makes you the main technical leader of integrated project, overseeing the engineering teams across product families. You will handle daily technical management and ensure the delivery and quality of documentation to the customer.

Key accountabilities
- Technical Lead: Design/technical solution authority in the Kongsberg Maritime scope.
- Quality review of ship and equipment specifications, check function and scope of the Kongsberg Maritime delivery. Uphold delivery excellence and actively contribute to R&D initiatives and sales support.
- Systems Thinking Evangelist: Plan and execute interface management and ensure specified System Functionality is achieved.
- Collaboration Champion: Responsible for coordination of technical execution in integrated projects. Work closely with the broader project team, securing approvals from customers, class authorities, and national bodies.
- Team Player: Foster a positive social and professional environment within our team
Qualifications and experience
- Relevant engineering education, from college or university
- Experience in one or several within maritime: engineering management, electrical installations, shipyard commissioning, system or equipment design, operation of ships, offshore installations, or commissioning/service.
- CAD drafting and drawings, project follow-up software experience also an advantage.
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
