Project Engineer

In this role, you will play a part in our dynamic Global Customer Support, delivering essential remote-control systems to our business. You will be a part of an international and highly skilled team, sharing the same goals, working with Upgrades and Modification projects for our customers.

What you will be doing

  • Engineering upgrades and modifications of vessel systems
  • Owning complete project deliveries, taking responsibility for material being shipped to customers
  • Compiling bills of material
  • Creating drawings and manuals
  • Configuring software to be run on the systems
  • Supporting sales, production and service technicians

We think you should have

  • Automation or Electrical Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) and/or relevant technical education/experience
  • Good understanding of electrical systems and technical drawings
  • Fluently written and spoken English and native language
  • Knowledge about the maritime industry and/or Kongsberg Maritime’s products is an advantage, not a necessity
