ILS Project Manager in the Naval Market

Kongsberg Maritime is currently looking for an ILS Project Manager or ILS Project Engineer to join our cross-functional team of young and experienced colleagues. Due to the high demand for our products in the naval market, we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an ILS Project Manager. This role offers the chance to work on exciting projects within the naval business, providing both sales support and managing your own project portfolio.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Review customer ILS requirements and compliance matrices during the bid phase.
  • Prepare quotations for ILS work packages.
  • Support project managers in planning, coordinating, and managing ILS delivery projects.
  • Perform relevant Product Support Analysis.
  • Facilitate FMEA/FMECA and RAMS analysis.
  • Interact with suppliers to obtain necessary data and maintain customer contacts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

Our Team:

Our team is responsible for both sales support and project delivery of ILS work packages, including logistics, maintenance planning, supply-chain management, training, technical data, reliability and maintainability, and sustainment. We provide guidance on effectively managing and supporting complex systems, maximizing system availability and readiness while reducing lifecycle costs. Our work integrates Product and Systems Engineering principles to ensure comprehensive solutions.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Technical background and experience with project execution.
  • Experience or knowledge within the Naval Market or Naval operations is an advantage.
  • Experience with Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) analysis.
  • Knowledge of Life Cycle Management and Sustainment.
  • A BSc/MSc degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of marine automation and control systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ILS and product support analysis is also beneficial.
  • Proficiency in English and Norwegian, both oral and written; additional languages are an advantage.
