Group manager - Vessel Automation

Our dynamic team provides software resources in K-Chief SW and test resources, to support all divisions in Kongsberg Maritime. Our highly skilled personnel thrive in a period of many changes with cyber security, digital business transformation, new products, and new way of working.

What you will do

As the Group Manager of Vessel Automation, you will have a wide range of exciting responsibilities! You will be in charge of managing department budget, financial statements, plans and strategies, as well as personnel.

You will also play a key role in further developing effective routines and processes for the department, ensuring that we have the required capability, capacity, and competence both in the short and long term. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our management team, support partners in KM project network, and collaborate with other departments within the company.

Who are you?

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree within engineering.  
  • Knowledge about Kongsberg Maritime products, systems and applications is a plus.
  • Managerial experience is an advantage.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Norwegian

We are seeking someone with a positive mindset and someone who can work well with others with all changes within the segment. Attention to detail and good organizational skills are also important to maintain high-quality work. The ability to think clearly in a hectic environment is crucial - as is self-motivation and good communication skills.
