FX Middle Office Analyst
Group Treasury is responsible for cash management, trade finance, group funding and foreign exchange risk management. The FX Middle Office Analyst is responsible for handling incoming hedge requests from the Group’s subsidiaries on a daily basis. The role also supports the Group’s entities on questions they have related to FX handling, with the support from middle office and back office. The position reports to the Group VP Finance and Treasurer in Kongsberg Gruppen ASA.
As our FX Middle Office Analyst will go on maternity leave, we are looking to fill this role on a temporary basis from March/April 2025 until March 2026.
As a FX Middle Office Analyst your main responsibilities are to:
- Receive hedge requests from the group’s subsidiaries, import these to the Treasury Management System (IT2), and report on the actual transactions executed.
- Prepare, update, and maintain templates used by the subsidiaries to request hedges.
- Calculate project hedge rates.
- Perform reporting related to the groups and its subsidiaries FX portfolio.
- Support subsidiaries with their day-to-day questions related to FX.
- Perform internal training on FX risk and related processes.
- Perform periodic and ad-hoc analysis.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor or master’s degree within finance, economy, or other related fields.
- Former experience from roles related to FX risk management is an advantage, but no prerequisite.
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Power Point and PowerBI. Knowledge in Macro/VBA programming is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, precise, and structured way in both Norwegian and English.

You will also work closely with external stakeholders such as banks, and internal stakeholders including both project controllers and executive management.
