Financial Controller

An incredible opportunity awaits you as Financial Controller. In this role, you will play a part in our dynamic Automation & Control Team.

Automation & Control division is responsible for product and technology development, supply chain operations and project delivery for all Kongsberg's Automation, Bridge & Maneuvering Systems and solutions. The division is also responsible for developing and delivering large projects by integrating solutions for Kongsberg to the maritime segments across our entire product range. This position is reporting within Business Unit Vessel Systems. The Financial Controllers are organized within A&C Finance and reports to Finance Manager for Vessel Systems.

We are replacing a colleague who has taken another exciting position in the company. The Business Unit Vessel Systems is in growth, and we seek to hire a professional and business-minded Financial Controller, eager to take the role as an active value adding business partner within the Vessel Portfolio. Please be aware only internal candidates will be evaluted for this position.

What you will be doing

  • Participate in monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting
  • Prepare monthly reports and along with management team present monthly status to Business Unit SVP
  • Participant in project portfolio review
  • Monitor and analyze project portfolio
  • Establish, follow-up, measure and report on KPI’s
  • Ad hoc analysis

We think you should have

  • Relevant education in economics (equivalent to bachelor's level)
  • Good analytical skills, solution oriented and targeted
  • Knowledge and interest in use of Microsoft tools such as MS Excel
    We use Power BI as a tool for presenting and analyzing data within the Division. Experience about, or interest in this tool is preferable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Good English skills, written and oral
