Design Engineer
Design Engineer - Propeller Product Management
We are expanding our team with a design engineer for our Propeller Product Management department in Kristinehamn. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team working together to sell, design, manufacture, and deliver propellers with world-class performance.
Are you ready for an exciting and challenging role? The focus will be on everything from development projects, sales support, design, and drawing review within projects and product maintenance. Evaluation of deviations from suppliers and aftermarket support are also important parts of the job. Your ability to effectively manage these tasks and collaborate with various departments will be crucial to your success in this position.
We hope that you can eventually take on some leadership by coordinating a design team, which means you will lead discussions and collaborate with other designers to drive innovation and improvements.
Some travel is included in the position. Among other things, we would like you to visit machining suppliers, participate in cost reduction projects, and attend meetings with central teams at Kongsberg on relevant subject areas.
We think you should have
A suitable educational background is a bachelor- or master's degree in mechanical engineering, but this is not a requirement if you have equivalent knowledge/experience from elsewhere. To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have at least 3 years of work experience as a design engineer. Experience with NX is advantageous.
Why join us

A position with a wide range of challenging tasks, opportunities to make a real difference, and develop on a technical and personal level. We can offer flexible working hours and the possibility to work partly remotely based on your tasks.
