Business Systems Manager for Delivery Administration

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Business Systems Manager for Delivery Administration in the KM Automation and Control division, reporting to Manager of Operational Excellence. As a Business Systems Manager, you will be part of a team that will drive and steer towards process standardisation and optimalisation. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the organisation in continuously improving and realising efficiency benefits as we adopt new digital solutions.  

 

The Business Systems Manager for Delivery Administration will be the divisional main driving force behind standardisation and operational excellence within project administration and planning.

 

Key accountabilities  

  • Drive continuous improvement across your functional area of expertise through adherence of new ways of working, including identifying gaps, bottlenecks and opportunities in the processes, systems and tools.  
  • Influence the interface between operations and key stakeholders
  • Work closely with operational key users, translate input into action, and deploy change where it will have most beneficial impact for the business.  
  • Hold key user forums to gather, understand and document/filter input and feedback.  
  • Coordinate functional user testing to ensure all relevant scenarios are verified and validated.  

  

Qualifications and experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering, business administration or related field.
  • Able to foster collaboration among a big stakeholder pool, motivating teams for continuous improvement and encouraging feedback across multiple organisational areas.  
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written in English.  
  • It is beneficial to have some knowledge of the Lean methodology.  
  • Experience with leading teams, preferably in the maritime or naval industry.

 

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
