KONGSBERG has booked an order of remote weapons stations (RWS) valued at MNOK 149 from Försvarets Materialverk (FMV).

Egil Haugsdal (51) has been named Executive Vice President, Group Business Development, at KONGSBERG, effective 1 January 2013 and will be responsible for strategy, M&A, integration and new areas in the Group.

Earlier this year, it was announced that KONGSBERG was selected as the favored RWS supplier on a major international armoured vehicle program. The details for the sub-contract are now finalized.
